If I Were a Wish
Anthologies Featuring My Poetry
Poetry anthologies are a great place for poets to gather. I’m honored to be part of these collections and among so many incredible poets. The latest anthology is Nuclear Impact: Broken Atoms in Our Hands by Shabda Press.
When You Can’t Scream… Or 10 Reasons Why I Smoke
My self-published book on personal stories of resilience was an incredible experience in writing empowerment and creative collaborations. While it is on some shelves and in the hands of readers, I’ve made this a limited printing. As a first book it included many firsts for me. I created and designed it in InDesign myself, but could never have done it without collaborations in all aspects of the process. I learned to organize and direct live model photo shoots to realize visuals for the poetry. And I bravely shared a non-fiction exploration of the traumas I’ve experienced and how I used cigarettes to navigate ptsd. I’m proud of this book, and I catalyzed my creative journey in innumerable ways!
